Anesthetization or the practice of administering anesthesia in hospitals, mainly involves giving anesthetic drugs to patients to produce temporary loss of sensation for medical purposes. Amongst all the difficulties that arise during the surgery, one of the most feared is complication in injection of anesthesia drugs (Examples: Propofol, Fentanyl). This complication is common for all age groups undergoing major surgeries. During major surgeries, the presence of an anesthesia specialist is mandatory. The process appears monotonous yet requires constant attention of the anesthetist. But anesthetists are also vulnerable to errors. The focus of this paper is to design a delivery system that is closed loop, cost efficient and not time-consuming. This can be done by measuring all the parameters from human body using different sensors. The various sensors used for this purpose are ECG sensor, Pulse sensor, Blood pressure sensor and Temperature sensor. The Measurable parameters from these sensors are ECG waveform (Amplitude/Time period), Pulse Rate (pulse/min), Systolic/Diastolic Pressure (mmHg), Body Temperature. The system detects the output level, provides feedback based on this information and compares it to a fixed point that defines the desired output level. This is called Feedback Loop System. Thus, this paper elaborates on the measurement of ECG waveform, Pulse rate, Blood Pressure and Body Temperature which could help us in controlling the flow of anesthesia induced in a given period of time during major surgeries.
