Abstract

The most typical heavy-duty electric vehicle design upstream and downstream is addressed by this project using fresh concepts. When the system is running downstream, this design aids in doubling system efficiency. Consequently, the idea is to alter the HEV's design by converting the internal combustion engine into a generator, reducing losses, and employing a multi-level inverter to enhance battery performance. A novel class of converters called multilevel inverters is used to convert DC to AC in applications including medium voltage. Here, a brand-new architecture is suggested for producing a staircase wave output voltage with few switches. 15 levels in the load may be produced by this configuration. In order to fully clarify the benefits and features of the suggested topology, this paper presents a thorough comparative analysis of a number of topologies. The prototype model of the multilayer inverter and output is now complete, and experimental results have validated the performance of the suggested topology with a resistive load.
