Recycling of Electronic Waste (EW) is an emerging issue due to the rapid development of Information Technology industry, which causes serious hazards to the human health and environment. India stands at 5th position in the generation of EW in the world. The recycling rate of EW is also low, thereby necessitating the need for ideas to dispose the EW in a green and sustainable manner. This has led to the current research in which the EW has been used in the production of M20 grade concrete as a partial replacement of Coarse Aggregates (CA). Additionally Jute Fibre (JF) has been added to prevent the crack formation and improve the mechanical strength and durability properties of concrete. The experimental investigation with varying percentages of EW and JF as a partial replacement of CA was conducted. The results of the study indicated a significant increase in Compressive Strength (CS), Split Tensile Strength (STS) and Flexural Strength (FS) of EW and JF reinforced concrete when compared to the Conventional Mix (CM) concrete. The 28 days CS, STS and FS values for the EW and JF reinforced concrete was increased by 23.43%, 11.7% and 34.1% respectively when compared to CM concrete. The study showed that EW and JF when used in the preparation of concrete as a partial replacement for CA can lead to production of more sustainable concrete with high strength.
