Abstract
The Virtual Tour Generator is a web-based application designed to provide an immersive virtual exploration of a college campus using 360-degree panoramic images. This solution addresses challenges such as long-distance travel, overcrowding, and accessibility constraints by enabling users to experience a location virtually. Built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, the application leverages Google Street View for image stitching and Photo Sphere Viewer for panoramic visualization. Navigation is enhanced with interactive markers, while a speech synthesis module provides audio descriptions, acting as a virtual guide. This paper presents the system design, implementation, and evaluation of the Virtual Tour Generator, demonstrating its effectiveness in delivering a user-friendly and informative virtual tourism experience including AI-driven features like automated narration. It uses a Image Captioning with Deep Learning Algorithm that utilizes Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). The CNN-RNN models achieved an accuracy of about 94%. The application has improved the quality of experience and creates an immersive experience for the users.
