Abstract

Smart traffic light controller systems and traffic jams are some of the major challenging problems in day-to-day life and also all over the world. They are mainly used to control and monitor the flow of transportation routes/automobiles in many junctions of roads and cross-section roads. We aim to smooth the flow of vehicles and avoid traffic congestion, and accidents. This system uses a Tinkercad IoT simulation project in its approach, with no manual connection to turn on the light. The proposed system is used to connect the PIC microcontroller to control the traffic levels, and the IR Sensor detects the various levels. Hence, this setup is used to monitor the vehicle movement. The PIC microcontroller is one of the solutions for problems in emergency areas that helps avoid traffic congestion on highways and NH roads. This completed set is interfaced with ARDUINO UNO.
