Abstract

In this paper we focus on the use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to automate document management tasks and improve the accuracy of data entry. We used Pytesseract, an open-source OCR tool, to recognize characters from an image and export them to a CSV file. By combining Pytesseract with Python's CSV library, we were able to automate the data entry process and improve the efficiency of document management. The results of this project demonstrate the importance of OCR technology in automating document management tasks and improving the accuracy of data entry, and highlight the potential for further advancements in OCR technology to revolutionize the field of document management.
