A Miniaturized symmetrical Band pass filter based on open circuited stubs is presented. Impedance split technique is followed to realize the miniaturized filter. The bandpass filter structure is verified using Advanced Design System 2021 simulation. The center frequency of the proposed filter is selected as 2.5 GHz. It achieves a bandwidth of 1.2 GHz. The filter structure is fabricated in a 1.6 mm thickness FR4 substrate. Fabricated filter structure is tested using vector network analyzer and S parameter measurement was done. The simulated and measured scattering parameters of the proposed miniaturized filter were compared. The miniaturized band-pass filter achieves a overall dimension of 32.87mm x 26.32mm.
