This paper presents a comparative simulationbased analysis of three boost converter topologies for Power Factor Correction (PFC) using MATLAB Simulink. The study investigates the performance of a conventional totem-pole boost converter, a dual boost converter, and an advanced totem-pole configuration under identical input and load conditions. The primary objective is to evaluate each topology's effectiveness in improving the power factor, reducing total harmonic distortion (THD), and enhancing overall efficiency in ACDC conversion systems. MATLAB Simulink is used to model each converter topology and simulate their behavior in continuous conduction mode (CCM) with PFC control strategies. Key performance parameters, including input current waveform quality, output voltage regulation, and dynamic response to load variations, are analyzed. Special attention is given to the effectiveness of each topology in achieving near-unity power factor and maintaining low input current distortion. The results provide valuable insights into the trade-offs between control complexity and power quality improvement.
